The Abia State Government says it will employ 2,500 teachers to address the teacher shortage and ensure adequate staffing across primary and secondary schools in the state. The Nigerian Communications Commission has approved requests from network operators for tariff adjustments in response to rising operational costs, marking the first change in rates since 2013.
